    Lithium battery charger

I'm planning to switch to lithium batteries from AGM. I have a 2 bank Noco Genius charger that's about 6 years old (not gen3, or gen5) and wonder if it is suitable for charging lithium batteries.

While yam may be correct I suggest you ask the battery maker what they think about it. They hold the key to your warranty coverage. JMO Bob

As long as it has a separate selectable AGM setting, it should be fine. If the wet cell and AGM setting is one and the same, I would not chance it.

Does it have a button for changing battery types? if not, you need a newer charger.

Some chargers will go into desulfation mode and thats a no-no when charging lithiums as the voltage goes to 15v+. I know as a Noco, Ionic and Zpro dealer the older Noco Genius(red lettering) chargers arent compatible.
