    BASS Coverage and Bowman

Am I the only one wondering why/how BASS continues to have Steve Bowman as part of their segments? I'm sorry but it is soooo painful to watch/listen when he is running a segment.

Just a general statement but I am convinced at this point that neither BASS or BPT could ever have live coverage and please everyone.

That's a fact Mark! I'm just thankful he isn't involved in many segments!

It's all good. People like different things. I'm just thankful we get live coverage. Beats the old says if wrap up shows months after the tournament.

That's the difference between bass fishing and other sports, the level of broadcasting professionalism. That's why they brought in Chad McKee but there's so much inside bassball involved. I think Chad does a halfway decent job, considering his lack of knowledge. Most of the B.A.S.S. staff is like nails on a blackboard. There aren't many pros, B.A.S.S. or MLF who could carry a show. Mark Jeffrey did a great job as a non-competitor angler.

You haven’t been listening to Lee then today. He’s been outstanding

While I like BASS, from a coverage standpoint, MLF blows BASS out of the water.

He seems like the guy thats always at the tackle shop drinking coffee, talking about the old days.
I dont know who he is, what he has done to add credit to his commentary. Just seems like the guy thats always has a cup of coffee, and talks fishing.

So he was a guest commentator.
I was thinking he fished, and didn’t make the cut.

    Thanks for the link👍

It always sounds to me like Mercer doesnt like Steve Bowman. They are always poking jabs and it seems more serious than not serious.

So many are shooting from the hip with posts and don't know BASS history Bowman is an Icon with the organization he and James Overstreet as well they have been dedicated bass fisherman and duck hunters for decades and best of friends, always true to the outdoors and sharing knowledge real Americans, just down home folks and brilliant reporters.

I had not watched much of MLF coverage, until this weekend. Tackle Warehouse series this weekend was on West Point Lake (local). Watched a good bit of the coverage and was very impressed. MLF website was also very good. I could not believe how great the coverage was for a Tackle Warehouse Tournament.

Followed bass for over 40 years.

Always heard of Overstreet just not Bowman.
