? Falcon vs Fork Century Belts

What was the format way back when at Falcon when they passed out the 100 lb belts?
Was the final day cut to 10 as current?

Point is there are 8 anglers cut who have 82+ and easily get 18lbs if they got to fish tomorrow.
There are several more at 75+ who could also make it-at least some of them.

Anyway wanted an apples to apples comparison and I have no idea what or when Falcon had its hay day!

    Thanks

Cut to 12 and I believe all received a century belt. The way I remember it, Aaron M. was on pace to hit 140, but stumbled on the final day. Elias won with 132? and change.

Fork is cool, but Falcon was insane.

Aaron was at 109-8 after 3 days and came in with only 19 on day 4. 3 guys including Aaron were over 100 after 3 days.

I bet you remember the 50 cut line. Ended up just on the wrong side of it that time.

49-0 didn’t make the top 50 cut. Ask me how I know.

The results of this Tourney to the records that were broken should be identified with an asterisk. Just say’en

Should have been a monster swim bait bite for you on Falcon. Good luck at your next tournament!! If I caught 49 lbs. in two days I'd just pass out in joy.

Edit: Ouch, 51st place. I can't imagine how much that stings.

Sorry about that. Looking forward to visiting with you in a few weeks. Couldn't get to Fork this week.

If I remember right, Martens and another angler shared fishing a house foundation at Falcon. If only one of them was on it, they would have blown it away.....but they spilt the fish. The last day, they were running out.

Thanks for sharing that info. That is Insane. I wish I fished it back then.
Still haven't. Fork is enough of a puzzle to keep me busy!

If no cut in either tournaments there could have been 50+ belts on Falcon and 35+ on Fork!

Pretty sure because it wasn’t fair and they only allowed the top 10 guys to go out many more probably could’ve made it.
If professionals who's careers depend on catching fish use FFS then that's what I'm using. Might be too simple of a philosophy but makes sense to me.

A one day tournament on Rayburn yesterday too almost 40lbs to win. Fork has shown out for 3 straight days. Good times in Texas.
