    Dual Purpose LifeP04 battery ?

Doing some reading and digging into the lithium dual purpose battery I know the BMS controls the amount of charge the battery will take from the alternator but how are they coming up with the amperage to start the motor. Would not think there are Supper Caps in there but maybe. Just curious.

I don't think the BMS is actually controlling the current flow. Modulating it if you will. What it will do is to put a limit on the maximum input and output current. And also perhaps put a limit on output current based on time.

Cells can output X amount of current. Increase the size of a cell or connect a number of them in parallel such that they can output whatever the output needs to be.
