    Very close to where we are and local news said she was a military veteran and was very calm and collected. She has already been released from the hospital; unfortunately people in the other vehicles are in the hospital with life threatening injuries. We watched the live rescue of her on tv at lunch and yes THANK YOU 1st responders!

    There have been numerous helicopter rescues in California as well. All these folks show incredible skill and bravery. My legs would turn to jelly.
