    126sv with lvs34 and point 1

Can this unit together not work without a point 1 to show beam direction on the 126sv unit. If so can my Lowrance NMEA be used for Garmin and what items are needed to connect from my existing NMEA at bow. Don't I just need a T and a 2ft NMEA extension cable.
    Thanks guys

Lowrance NMEA cables/tees are universal so they can be used with your garmin units......the Point 1 can be used with Garmin also.....

I think he is asking if he has to have a Point-1 to use the livescope.

I think the answer is you can use the scope without it.

I thought he was asking if the point1 nmea would control the on screen pointer, like it does on the AT.

I was asking if you can use live scope without a gps and NMEA and it function properly. Also did want to know if screen pointer worked without point 1 and nmea. You guys answered everything. Appreciate it guys.

If I remember correctly, LS does not need a compass sensor to show you where it is aiming. You just need to calibrate it. Although!!! as soon as you switch to perspective mode, it blows out that calibration.

Todd has said many times on here that the only reason to calibrate is if you want to mark waypoints with its view........once you put in perspective view it no longer calibrated. But you can still use it without calibrating.....
