How many overs can you have in boat at one time?

One per person I think. Team events, rules usually say one. But this tournament is deceiving - in most of the tournaments I've ever fished at Fork, 8.5 lbs is a good bag. That's kind of what the maximum is on unders. 250 boat tournaments on Fork in the spring will sometimes have zero overs weighed. Our 35 boat club has had zero overs weighed there in the last decade, in a tournament. But we've caught a lot of beautiful 23 inch fish. They just don't count for the tournament.

Yes, I remember watching one of those big bass events where they had over 1,000 boats. What was interesting as they have hourly weigh-ins at those things is that you could place in the hourly deal with a fish that was under the line. A 16 incher or whatever the lower slot is. Catch a fat 16 inch fish that outweighs the others of the same length. Plenty of tourneys on that lake, you just have to work within the rules.
