What bait did you catch your PB on

I haven't really kept up with precise weights over the years, many times weighing with the old spring type scales. Having said that, here are my mine;

LM - a couple over 7lbs, one on a brown/orange jig with Uncle Josh #11 (Coosa River) the other on a Bomber model A Fire Tiger (Lake Jordan).
Spot - 6ib on a TX rig finesse, I think it was a purple ( Coosa River).

My personal best LM 8.5lbs on a Jig and pig. SM 5.0lbs on a mepps spinner. Caught lots of 10lb plus pike on a mepps too.

I don’t have an exact weight but my biggest stripped bass, over 35lbs on a pencil popper my father used to make.

6# largemouth...Matzuo wakebait :white/silver sides.
Caught a lot of decent smallies on it too. Unfortunately Matzuo dropped/changed the style and it's not as effective...at least for me it isn't

Black Crappie was a 14oz Black crappie on a #1 Pearl Squarebill
My largest Chain Pickeral ( 3.0 lbs) was on a #4 rooster-tail in white and red.

I've caught 2 6.25lb largemouth one on a wacky rig senko one on a 6thsense swim jig. 4lb small mouth on a drop shot

Also I've never caught a spotted bass. Need to travel south and get into them.

Largest hooked largemouth easily 7 pounds 10 inch berkley power worm. First and last cast I ever made using 10 inch worm.

Largest smallmouth ever caught on a storm weighted thin fin. Over 4 and a half. Fishing solo in Maine and the gills were bleeding so it was quickly returned. Otherwise I was the camp site and I would have had it weighed.

Biggest smallmouth weighed in tournament 4 pounds 4 ounces dropshot 4 inch zoom worm.


First five pound largemouth landed and also cashed first ever check in tournament storm thunderstick. 5 pounds 15 ounces

First 4 pound largemouth arbogast jitterstick. Never used it again

First 5 pound largemouth hooked but not landed was on a norman loudmouth never used it again


First 6 pound largemouth caught ever and in tournament storm wiggle wart 6 pounds 5 ounces

Largest largemouth caught but not weighed yammamoto 4 inch black grub. Easily over 6 and a half pounds

PB largemouth weighed in ever and in tournament 6 pounds 7 ounces caught on a discontinued roboworm zipper 6 inches
