    204 prop

I was running a 25m with my 200 efi. I replaced with a fresh rebuilt 225 efi. I was running the 25m still. I had a great hole shot, but my top speed was low 60’s. I noticed a large crack on a blade at the end of the season so I need to replace. Is anyone else running a 204 with a 225? What is the best prop you’ve found? Was thinking either a worked 25 or 26 tempest plus. Anyone tried that setup. The boat had bad bow lift, would a fury help with the bow lift vs the tempest? Thanks for any help.

Worked 25p Tempest and keep the rod boxes light. Should see about 72 properly set up.

I had a 25 Trophy on mine, ok hole shot and high 60's for top end, but ran very flat. I added a 4th battery and that dropped some top end for sure. I tried a 26 tempest, but too much prop for mine. So I put on a 25 tempest on it. I haven't had a chance to air it out, but the hole shot was about the same. Just as MMosher said, keep the front end light or you will really notice the weight.
