    Z-lock JackPlate bolts

I have a 819 with a manual zlock jackplate 10. It has 3 bolts In each side and I have to mount my raptors to it but the pattern is too long for the adapter. Has anyone taken out the top bolt? I need to check my prop to pad but didn’t want to start doing a crazy amount before I figure out the bolt issue.IMG_2024-02-23-194616.JPG

I have an 819 as well. I have Blades on my boat, the bracket is slotted, so it was not an issue. The dealer did not put the top one in, I made them add it.

Just as a point of reference, I had a 721 previously. At the time the genius' at TH Marine thought it was okay to hang a 250 ProXS on two bolts per side. Well long story short the top one broke and I had to run back waiting for the motor to fall off!

    Good luck!

Thanks! Yeah I was really dreading the thought of not having enough support on it. I have a message into a couple places to see if I can get a set of power pole brackets instead of the raptors. I believe they will work for the raptors….kinda bummed though because the Raptor brackets are really beefy.

My Blade brackets are solid. I have had them 3 years, still good! Check with Hydrilla Gear, he is good to deal with.

If you ever even think you may want to swap to a hydro plate, go ahead and do it. Z lock plates are a steaming pile of garbage.

Wish I could, this already put me over my budget…probably a next year purchase. Ended up finding power plate jackplate brackets that fit the raptor and my zlock. Thanks guys

WJ, you will get a 2nd from me. I would love to swap over to a hydraulic, maybe one day.

Peach, glad you found you some brackets!
