Need another spinning reel, primarily for drop shotting. Never used Lews spinning. I mostly have Stardics, Vanford, and daiwa tatula's. I didn't want to spend to much, but I don't mind if the reviews for the Lews come n bad. Anyone have any experience with this reel? How does it compare to some of the others I listed?
Imo, Lews is a significant downgrade from shimano stradics. I personally have never handled a Lews reel that felt good, I’d honestly rather buy 2 presidents and a pack of Senkos for the price of the custom lite.

Just say no to Lews. Especially with the reels that you are used to using. Same as cobb, I'd go with a Pflueger, Nasci or BG if you want to save some bucks.
