    Ranger at Daytona.

Not really a Nascar fan but it's nice to see Ranger boats being represented on the big stage. Now only if it was on a chevy.

I guess I'm disappointed that they did that and that's coming from a Ranger owner. Sponsorships cost mega bucks, depending on the agreement could be millions.. I hardly think they needed to do this. How about holding the line on the prices of their boats. That would be nice.

This is true, but as a corporation they really can’t please everyone. Ranger severely trimmed their pro team [sponsored] 2-3 years ago, and you’d have thought it was the end of the world. As in, “they must be going out of business!” Or, “how could they cut so-and-so?” If you look closely at their pro team now, there’s only true professionals [imo] who compete well, represent the company well, and appear to be fine human beings. A lot of guys who used to be Ranger pros are now sponsored by Phoenix, and to my eye none of them are a loss. Marketing is a double-edged sword: if you don’t market at all, it costs, and if you do, it costs!
