    Mercury Pro XS 250 Painting Lower Unit

    Serial #:3B008468

    Wondering if lower or mid water pick-ups / vents need to be covered, or just to be careful and not spray directly into them. If covering /plugging required, any materials / tips?

    No need to cover- you're not applying enough spray there to cause problems. Any spray would have to travel a significant distance to reach any area that might cause problems.
