    Any 17 wsm fans

Just curious why there seems to be an ammo availability issue, $60 for a box on GB is crazy. Probably my favorite and most accurate plinked. Seems to be plenty of HMR stuff available and I really like the looks and reviews of the Ruger tactical bolt in HMR.

Interesting cartridge but never caught on. I think Winchester tried to fill a niche that wasn't really there.

I love the WSM, it's a hoot suppressed. I bought 2000 rds and I'm glad I did. It's a hammer on coons, great on fox and does surprisingly well on coyote.

A couple of my local Walmart's has the 20 grain 17 WSM ammo in stock for $19.?? a box. I seen some yesterday. I have a 17 HMR so I never gave the 17 WSM much thought.

Yup. Same with the WSSM calibers. I got caught up in the wssm sweepstakes back in '07. All dead calibers now.

I picked up a .17 WSM many years ago, stocked up on ammo when I could find it. Shelves would be empty for months then they would get a shipment and I would buy a bunch. Fun gun to shoot!

I have a 223 WSM and haven't seen that ammo in a while myself.
