    Little History-Knives

Made a little Trip, to watch a Syracuse Lacrosse game in the dome. One of my childhood towns was Camillus, NY. The knife works was one of the cool places in town. Camillus was one of the oldest knife makers in the country up 2007. Made knives for military, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts. Cool old building on nine mile creek.

I still have the knife issued to me as a mechanic in the Army. The good ole TL29. Best utility knife I've ever used. I retired it after 10 years of use. Still looks almost new. Issued in 1965, Braconne, France.

Brand is still around, owned by one of those big outdoor brand conglomerates. Assuming knives are made in China now.

The sad part, manufactured products leaving the US.
