    Bass Cat Aluminum Battery Trays

Can anyone tell me if the threaded rod on the battery trays are removable?

I have a group 31 AGM cranking battery I need to replace, but it is a tight fit and I think the only way I can do it is if I remove the front 2 rods.

    Thanks for any advice

Does anyone know what the thread diameter and pitch of the rods are...I'm replacing my batteries with 36 volt Monster lithiums and they are 1.25 inches taller...Thx

Do you have to pull the trays out to remove the threaded rod?? My boat is in winter storage and I don't have access to it for another month or so..

No, those threaded rod will come out without removing the trays. Im confident they are 5/16". Also those spacer blocks that are use when using 27's will come out to accommodate a 31 series.

Not to hijack the thread, but if anyone needs them, I have 2 that you can get cheap. Switched to lithiums before they were installed. PM if interested.
