Is there a cable that will allow connecting a Minn Kota Quest built-in HW Dual Spectrum CHIRP (not built-in MDI) along with the MEGA 360 to a HELIX ... ??

HB has told a friend of mine no ... mentioning that the Quest built-in HW Dual Spectrum CHIRP cannot be used with the MEGA 360 Y cable ...

You got inaccurate information.

The 14 M360 2DDI Y cable.

It has a 14-pin female plug for the MEGA 360 and a 14-pin female plug for the DSC transducer (same connection as the built-in MSI or MDI transducer).
It has a 14-pin male plug to connect to an APEX or SOLIX, that has to be converted to 7-pin to connect to a Helix. That adapter is included with the Quest (MKR-MI-1)

When the Helix recognizes the MEGA 360, all the Connected Transducer choices are deleted, and a new set is added that involves the MEGA 360. MEGA 360 alone is default, you have to change that setting to HW:MEGA 360 to get Depth/2D sonar.
