    Webster Lake Boat Ramp

We should notice an easier launch this year. Dredging has been done.

That's fantastic. Love fishing that lake but that launch always pissed me off.

That's excellent news! I wonder what the protocol is for how often they do this and what lakes they prioritize. There's quite a few lakes that would be much easier to launch in with just a little dredging, wouldn't require a ton of work! So small I've debated bringing down a small excavator and doing it myself in some remote locations...

The State had nothing to do with this other than providing the permits. The town of Franklin paid. They had to justify raising my property taxes by 70%.

    Yes 70%

Like the idea of dredging the ramp but raising taxes by 70% is crazy.

With the available housing options in the state, they sure know you're not going anywhere!!

The 70% increase was for Lakefront Owners. Other owners around the lake saw only minimal increases. House about 1/4 mile away saw their taxes go from $10,500 per year to $18,500. They know most of the Lakefront properties are
2nd homes. Pretty soon only the rich will be able to afford these houses. When one goes on the market it sells within a day or two. And always over asking price. And most of the properties are still being sold through private sales. Word of mouth without ever being listed.
