What an idiot. He could have made the first payment on a new caddy
Some people are so judgemental. You can tell just by looking at 'em.--Some random meme

I'm guessing if he can pay 17k to fish with a guy he can afford whatever he wants.

    Wasn't it a benefit auction?

I believe he paid the $17k to the hall of fame and got the trip with Milliken in return.

I watched the video, and you could tell it was an incredibly awkward dynamic in that boat

Just like Milliken to post this as a way of stroking his narcissism. Sadly there are a lot of simps who feed into it....albeit without paying that amount of money. Milliken is officially Only-Fans adjacent for dudes like this.

The auction item was bidding on a day fishing with Milliken and being featured in a youtube video.

I watched it. It was very awkward. You could tell Miliken was hoping the guy had a little more personality.

He had to make a point that he was getting more bids for fishing with him than other real legends of the sport.

Not gonna lie. I wish I had $17,000 to spend on a day of fishing.

It was a donation/auction for the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame, give the guy some credit for giving the money to a good cause. I love being in the boat when anyone catches a whale, whether it's me or my partner, I'm sure he was happy to see Ben catch the 10 pounder.

The man gets 17k to the bass fishing hall of fame, catches a 10lber on video, and we still have someone just trashing him on this forum. Interesting thing to get worked up about.

The 17K minus the value of the fishing trip is a charitable contribution deductible on his tax return.

Amazing isn't it. Donator gives his time to a good cause and the winner of auction gives his money to a good cause and both get bashed. I'm sure the 17k buyer was just content just being there. If you can drop that kind of coin you ain't really worried about it! Geez.

It was his money to do with what he pleases. Didn’t even know there was a Bass fishing HOF.
