It's a holiday Tuesday down here. Last parade of the year comes by my house in a couple hours. We don't do New Orleans - way too many people. Its going to be an interesting string of Fridays during Lent with the cost of crawfish sky high.

I do miss Lafayette this time of the year. Everybody is in a good mood. Happy Mardi Gras!
I'm on the wrong side of the Sabine to enjoy Mardi Gras... probably first time ever... no king cake, no music, no parades....
How much does a frozen supermarket pizza cost there?
Hang on. I'll help you in 77 minutes.
I was staying I Theriot this time last year. Even that far out in the marsh the celebration was crazy.
I’m enjoying my day off and certainly wouldn’t waste it at a parade.
I moved an hour north from my home town and they dont anything much less have off of work on Monday/Tuesday.....They have a parade on Sunday but its just to throw beads.....i like the Mardi Gras Run on Tuesday...

The decorative porch lights have been purple and green since January 6th. I have had my music on all day and heading to a Mardi Gras party this evening.
We ordered 37 kingcakes that we deliver to other docs that refer to us (I'm a dentist) and went to dental school in NOLA. Most up here have no clue about anything Mardi Gras.
Throw beads? As in the.................you know.
