While there are still some beautiful places to visit, you need to drive by hundreds of homeless camps on your way. Everyone drives like an absolute lunatic and fuel prices are the highest in the nation..

State is exceptionally talented in taking a large percentage of people's paychecks to turnaround and spend on things that are not in the best interest of the tax paying residents. Roads, waterways, and other infrastructure are all afterthoughts. Virtue signaling is a helluva drug...

Alabama residents don't even need pistol permits anymore...I do still keep a permit simply because I do travel out of state from time to time but in Alabama there is no need for a permit anymore...

I’d like to think this state is best at just about any and everything not only on a state or national level but on a Global level as well.
We have so much going on here from Agriculture, Farming, fishing, industrial, high tech, space, racing, multiple culter soup, Pacific coast beaches, Lakes, Mountains and snow sports, fantastic cannabis growing climates indoors and out, national parks, Big Foot, volcanoes, earthquakes, “recently” Tornadoes, flash floods, Winstorms, Forest fires, Redwoods, Oil, Wind/Solar/Hydro power and damn near perfect weather year round. Who could forget about the music and I wish they all could be California girls ;)
There ain’t much this great state is not best for with the exception and of some political stuff which is not the reason for my post or this thread.
OK that was a bit outspoken, I’ll go back to hiding in my cave now.
