    Carp, Urg!

My lakes here in California are loaded with carp. How do I distinguish between the carp and the bass on my scope? Any videos, tips, etc.

    Forked tail.
Carp doing carp things (not always)...turn nose down, pilfering the bottom, trail of bubbles coming up.
Sitting still. I see carp often times suspended, not doing jack doodly, just sitting there. Small carp will often look like large crappie until you see that forked tail.
