Would be hard to change, if possible.

They are connected with through bolts and nuts on the backside. I'm sure at some point I'll pull them off and get them cleaned up and powder coated.

My 2019 Z521 is flaking. I looked about switching I can’t get my arm in without fiberglass cutting my arm. I’m an average built man. How does a man get in there

I emailed Ranger to see what their warranty on this issue is. Accessing the nuts on the backside should be interesting. I am glad its not just me with this issue

'14 Z520C no flaking or corrosion at all. Must have changed the plating process, EPA probably involved somehow!

Johhny so is mine. I think there is 100 hours on mine. This boat has been a nightmare since day 1. The day I picked it up, driving home from the dealer a sidewall on a kenda blew out, 2nd time out the trim pump bolt to the piston fell out blowing out the trim pump. dealer fixed it and happened again. The battery charger went bad and shorted out the entire boat twice. The kenda tires are junk and had to replace them all due to broken belts. The battery switch went bad and in procees of replacing and the motor trim button just went bad! Yup. really happy with a 90 grand boat!

Sorry to hear about your problems. I feel for you. These boats cost alot of dough to have those problems. I've heard about the many Kenda issues but have not trailered enough for anything to happen yet i guess. I'm sure it's just a matter of time. You would think for what these rigs cost they would use better quality components. I guess it all just comes down to profit margin. Stay strong.

Everyone keeps mentioning earlier models and not having issues, pre L boat the Ranger rails were chrome plated. Since 2018 they are all painted chrome junk that will peel. Seen it on all years of L boat and I'm sure soon on R boats.
My buddy corrected this but having them sandblasted and powder coated black, it looks nice but doesn't have the same pop as chrome. The rims and grab handles in the boat are no better.

The bars on my 2012 are perfect. Well, maybe a little water spotted at times!

The design changed on the 2018 boats, so years prior have a different look. What was the cost of the blast and powder coat redo?
