    lake keowee late march

Thinking of coming to keowee the last week of march to fish. Keowee is the only lake on the chain that I've never been on. We usually go to hartwell the last week of march every year but want to do something different this year. I know the lake has a hot water discharge. Just curious as to What phase of the spawn are they typically in during that time? Is there any herring spawn going on then? Any info is greatly appreciated.

The cold front coming through today will not be helpful

I was out on the lake last Saturday. I was in a pontoon and was not fishing but it looked like most of the bassboats were fishing in the northern part of the lake in the coves from what I could see. We launched at the southern part of the lake and I did not see many people fishing there. Not scientific by any means but that is what I noticed doing the sightseeing thing.
