I put Moth Balls in the pass through area.
I also throw them in my crawl space under the house and throughout the shed.
When I didn't have them in the shed, damn mice chewed up a bunch of stuff, including my Range boat cover.

I have a tractor shed, tried to make sure all is sealed up, but they seem to find a way in. The mint bags seem to help as long as u swap them out regularly

Grandpa Gus Mouse repellant. It's the mint smelling packets. We store ours in a Morton building on a farm and it seems to work good.

When I was renting a storage unit the owner told us do not put food it, you will get mice. So we kept the food out and saturated the floor with peppermint oil and water mixture in a spray bottle before we loaded it up. I also saturated cotton balls with the stuff and put them at all the spots that had gaps to the outside. We had no mice.

Dryer sheets work well and peppermint extract on tires and corners outside and on the frame

I keep the small bait boxes setting around the outside and inside of the garage. And so far I haven’t had any trouble with mice.

The only thing that has worked for us Granpa Gus. We used dryer sheets and Irish spring and different oils. I put down about 3 or 4 glue traps and toss the Grandpa Gus pouches all over and they smell good.

Cat in the Bag bait boxes, I keep them setting around the shed, house, garage and they seem to keep the mice problem under control.

First is not to leave food or anything that might attract them and clean very good. We had one mouse last year and the wife bought some plug-in deterrents from Amazon. I was skeptical, but we have not had any since that time.
