Just about any blade can be reground and brought back to life unless it's been bent or suffered some other catastrophic damage. Tips are pretty easy to put back on, just bring it down from the spine and not from the belly. I've got pocket knives that I've sharpened 20-30 times that are several years old and still have plenty of life left. If you're not into sharpening, then your options are pretty much giving or throwing them away.
Or you could make a kick-ass Game of Thrones knife chair.
