    COSTA DEL MAR SUN GLASSES

My warranty claim has been approved. However, my current model is no longer available-Permit- (amber lense).

Please suggest lense color that works well out on the water.

Depends on where you’re at, what time of day and weather/water conditions.

As an all rounder the green mirror is good as Rulebender suggests. In real high sky bright bluebird days blue mirror. Low light/flat light stained water sunrise silver mirror.

Of course there were a bunch of fish caught by guys wearing non polarized Ray Ban Wayfarer’s back in the day

I like my $5 Walmart sunglasses. Especially the yellow ones when I drive in the rain or cloudy days.

I've got green mirror and blue mirror. The green mirror is hands down better on the water and in general for my eyes.
The copper base gives better contrast and I can see in the water better. The blue is world's darker even though they are listed at the same light transmission as the green. About the only time I wear the blue anymore is if I've got a migraine or on the beach in the gulf to knock down the reflection off the hire sand.

If you had amber before and liked that, green mirror would be the closest.

Appreciate all replies. BBC comes through again. Looks like I'm going with the Green Mirror.

Supposedly green mirror you can see through the water better for sight fishing. At least that's what I've always been told.

I agree with that, as long as you have decent sun/light and relatively clear water. You get in to flat light overcast skies and muddy water that’s where the silver mirror does really well.

The four days a year I get to fish the Louisiana marsh I make sure I have the silver mirror in the boat.
