    Fleece Pant Recommendation

Does anyone have a recommendation on fleece/windstopper pants to wear while fishing. They need to be comfortable.

    Thanks,

For me, I like just a nice pair of sweet pants then I put on my pro dry bibs. They block some wind. I’m a big believer in layering and being able to adjust as the day warms or cools down.

There is a store close by that sells these one size fits all yoga pants. I just heard about them. Seems like all the scallop and lobster guys are buying stacks of them. I see some contractors wearing them with shorts when its 20deg. I haven't tried them nor do I know much about them but they are like $10/pr, super comfortable, thin, and keep you warm.

The cheapest Frogg Toggs do a great job stopping the wind. They are very lite and work great as an outer layer.

BPS sells a fleece or flannel lined pants with big pockets. I wear them all winter. The fleece lined ones made my legs break out. Flannel are fine

I bought these... cheap, warm. Paired with my bibs... I can fish in windy sub freezing temps with no issues.

I bought some of these and have been very impressed so far. A bit pricey but what isn't nowadays.

As JD said I wear a pair over jeans. Buy a size big if considering to do this.

Wrangler used to make a pair of pants that were fleece lined. I got a couple pairs from Walmart a few years ago. Dont know if they are still making them. I think they are called Wrangler Outdoors Fleece Lined Performance Pants. They are not jeans they are made of a different fabric.

Joe Namath was right. If it's really cold all day I'll wear a pair of Patagonia under a pair of flannel jeans under my bibs. That works for me.
