    Hyd Steering

2005 Z20 the steering has started having spots where when you move the wheel it doesn't move the motor for a couple inches like there is air in the system but haven't noticed any leakage.

Look for leaking on the rods. Or could leak at the helm, look for staining from this leak right under the steering wheel. The seals around the rods can develop leaks. Some times you can just get the seals replaced. Some times you might need a whole new system. Mine is an '09 had to do seals in '17. I just had new seals installed this week.

More than likely it’s the gland seals, they are easy to change and purge the air from the system. I would only use OEM gland seals, the cheap generics on eBay and Amazon won’t last very long. Also check out a Bubble Purge G2 to bleed the air from the system, it’s well worth the money. It makes it an easy one man job bleeding the system.
