    Soft Swimbait Storage

Going to give swimbaits a try this year, recently bought some. What is the best way you have found to store swimbaits like Magdrafts and the cull shad. I worry about the tail getting deformed by just laying them in a plano box. Keep them in the original packaging? Let me here your suggestions. Thanks

Original package, and have them in a old style Bass Mafia Briefcase, which is essentially a soft deep 3700, but the new style would work just as well...

Why the original packaging? I keep my soft ones on a plano 3700.

Helps keep the tails from getting bent out of shape.

If they get deformed then dip them in boiling water and hang straight. Works with a bait that’s to stiff also
