Stainless steel blowout ring. Was used with trophy prop on Mercury lower unit.

What holds it on? Not to sound especially dumb, but does it go on the prop or the L/U? What diameter prop?

There are multiple small allen head screws that hold it on. I used it on a small hub trophy prop on V-6 gearcase (Converts 4.25" Trophy Prop to fit 4.75" gearcase).

Sorry Dave, I don't have an answer for that. What diameter is the ETECH gear case?
