Is there any significant difference between the two to make it worth switching to the AI2? I have the AI 3N1 at present however found an AI2 3n1. Is it worth the money to change? Thanks Bruce

There is no AI2. Do you possibly mean AI HD? Unless you have an HDS Pro getting an AI HD to work with older units would cost about $1200. Not sure it’s worth it but that is up to you.

The AI2 is a 2-1 Downscan and Side Scan. Users use that transducer when they have a sonar puck for shoot thru hull. YOu can verify if you have sonar on said AI2 Select in on the water from the sonar page and see if you get sonar. What you describe does not exist. If there is no HD in it then you have the original AI
