When do you start pulling the boat out on the bank?

I purchased a new Vexus AVX 1980c in August … very pleased with it! When is it OK to just pull the boat out on the bank?

Yes, beaching would be the proper term. I considered a keel guard but my dealer said they don’t stick very well to the Vexus keel. The lake where I fish are fairly rocky.

I had one on my 2021 1880. Worked great. Your 1980C has the new hull design and it’s even more suited for a keel guard.

Keel guards stick just fine, if the job is done correctly. Keel guards are a must imo if you are going to beach your Vexus. These boats scratch very easily.
