I had cataract surgery on both eyes. I was told prior that the standard charge covered by insurance would cost 5k each eye and that I would have great vision for everything except readers. I was also given the choice to have perfect eye sight not covered by insurance which would cost me out of pocket $7500 per eye. I am fine with my 1.75 readers.

My multi-focal lens were only $1000 per eye extra over single-focal lens. Knowing what I got for the $1000 I would pay the $7500 worth every penny to get same vision! I would also shop around for better price!

So if you took eye Viagra, would you have to see a doctor if you couldn't blink for longer than 4 hours?
Some people are so judgemental. You can tell just by looking at 'em.--Some random meme

Long range vision from 15 yards out is now clear after about 8 weeks. My left eye will require a procedure after about 3 months to clear up around the lens. Apparently, about 40-50% of patients require a follow up to clean up a lens. 5 minutes procedure.
Pretty amazing after wearing reading glasses for 30 years.
Yup they will go in and later it I believe. Was told it could happen to mine also. But no such problem here.

You will wish you'd done it sooner....my vision was instantly clear....this was 15+ years ago. I wear readers now for small print......but I can still tie a hook on without glasses.....

I had cataract surgery 2 yrs ago both eyes due to night driving blindness from oncoming vehicles. Day time I had no problems. Wore script glasses to read only. Since the surgery I have blurred vision 80% of the time , still oncoming vehicles lights blind me and 3 optometrists say it’s because of dry eye. I use the prescription eye drops 4 times daily and get no relieve. I can live with the floaters they said I would have but this blurred vision sucks . 72 years old and would give about anything the have my vision back! Any suggestions out there?
