hook storage, what is your set up

I use a Plano with the configurable slots but hooks get under the tabs, is there a better way?

I use a shallow Plano 3700 box as well
Some of the smaller hooks I put in small parts bags
A little clear silicon under the tabs would solve your problem

I leave them in their packages. Modified a bass mafia box so they lay flat.

My extra original packs banded together by rubber bands by size. Those are all then placed in zippered bag.

I keep some loose in a terminal organizer box as well.

I use one of the new skinny Plano boxes with a piece of tool box liner glued to the lid so most of their hooks stay in their little home. I haul around too many hooks that I never use. I'll bet if I really analyzed it, I don't use more than 6 or 8 different hooks on any regular basis.

I did have one of those Bass Mafia boxes but didn't like several things about it. Gave it to a friend.
    Don't worry Ma'am....

I use a small safety pin to keep them together and prevent them from sliding under the dividers.

I feel like as fisherman we all have a tackle box or two get rusted out before we start keeping everything in original packaging

These are expensive, but I like how you can keep hooks in original packaging underneath.

I love mine in the packs they come in to keep organized but I hate digging in a pack and pulling one off the clip and putting them back in the pack on the water…. But I also hate a bunch of loose hooks in a box!! Forever a nuisance for me…. It’s salty where I live/fish so, loose hooks in a box will rust in a few months time… so I’ve just been keeping a couple loose ones out handy with the rest in the packs in a bag.. I rarely lose a hook so, it works but it feels like a constant struggle!!

Switched to buzbe terminal this winter. Love all it holds. Can use small cubes for little stuff and then there is 3 otter sizes cubes. I did order more of the 1x2 cubes.

Most are jammed in utility box in original package.

Small hooks and Ned heads are in a bass mafia box.

Used the old Falcon fto terminal box until I dropped t and it cracked.
Now using the Plano Fto terminal box.

Would like to find an extra as well, don’t know if they still make them.

Found them under a different name.

For the last.several years I have been using a worm binder. I keep my hooks and terminal tackle in the original packaging and use small zip loc bags for weights. This has worked great for me, there's a video somewhere out there on it, that's where I got the idea. It's similar to the video above but I prefere the worm binder as you can see through the plastic.

Plano Edge 3700 Terminal tackle box. Bought some extra containers and keep them in their own box in a box.

Collin C. Plano does make them yet. I have one for “over stock”. It’s a nice box. I got mine at Scheels on sale like $10. Scheels is good to order from too.

I use 35 mm film canisters in a 3700. I write with a sharpie what size and style hook is in each canister on the lid. 5/O are to big so I leave those in the original package. I also keep C rig beads in the film canisters.
