    Monofilament Lines

Guys I have been using p-line CX clear for years but it's getting harder to find. What other mono lines are comparable or better than p-line. Thanks

I have been using SUFIX ELITE for years, never had a problem, so will continue to use it.

Sunline super natural works for me when I use mono, but that’s mostly just for topwaters.

I've been testing some www.masontackle.com fishing lines. They are small company in Michigan. The Mason T-Line and the Mason Walleye are looking very good in testing. They are also very inexpensive. They are about $5 a spool. So if you get some and think i'm wrong you didn't loose a lot of money.

I have used P-Line CX Premium for years in the clear but as the OP said the clear is getting impossible to find. I do use the green and although I don't like it I really haven't noticed any difference in performance. For my money, I've found good ol' Berkley Big Game as good as anything else. The only negative I can think of is that it does get a bad case of the coils after a few months...good news is, it's cheap to replace. Much easier to get along with than P-line CXX, a line I never could make work right for me.
    Don't worry Ma'am....
    I'm only here for the
    Bass.

I have been using Trilene XT on spinning reels and like it. I use Trilene Big Game on bait casting reels and like it (does have some memory/coils after a while).

Sunline Super Natural has been working great on my moving bait reels.

I like my tough-as-nails CXX but I'm trying out some Sunline Super Natural right now for 6"-8" swimbaits and glide baits and I'm liking it so far. It has the same diameters as the Sunline Sniper FC fluoro so I can get more of it on the spool.

This is about as good as I have found. I have tried many monos because I use it on topwater and running baits like shallow cranks. Everything else, I use braid on. If you knew how frugal I am, you would know this is good stuff because it is a little pricey..... and I pay it anyway

Trilene Xl green. Only mono I use anymore. XL is for extra limp. Especially in 4-6 lb test. Way stronger breaking strength than 4-6 lb florocarbon. Fish don’t care.

I like Sunline Super Natty (small diameter), Yeah-Zuri Hybrid, McCoy, and, don't laugh, Spider Wire Super Mono. Have P-Line CXX on my list to try.

When I was using mono, it's all I used. I think Trilene XL is great mono. I was gonna suggest it, but my gut said it wouldn't be the answer the OP was looking for, hahaha.

Izorline Platinum is my go to all around line. I think it is actually a co-poly but it is cheap, handles like mono and is extremely durable.
