It is really a shame. A buddy of mine had a significant amount of money down on a new one. Ended up cancelling after 2 years of waiting. lots of promises of repayment, but I think we all know how that story ends. I am sure he is not the only one that lost out big.

They got me for $48,000... Anytime I'd ask when my boat was going to be started, I got a song and dance. I'd even purchased my own 250 Pro XS and had it delivered there as they were telling me they were almost impossible to find. Thankfully I seen the writing on the wall and got my motor out of there or I'd have lost that too. If Scotty is half the man he claims to be, when he sells Gambler he'd pay us back our money he stole, and if ends up with nothing in the end so be it.. He took a chance investing in the company not those of us that were simply believing we were buying a boat. We shouldn't have to absorb his loss so he can walk away with money in his pocket.

when a business cant operate without all the money coming from their customers it is a bad deal there is a difference between giving 3 or so grand to start a custom boat an paying the total cost up front .

i inquired about building a new 21', back in Nov of 22... the down paymnet required to get on the waiting list detoured me... glad it did now...that would have been borrowing from peter to pay paul for building johns boat....then i would have been in line waiting for the next guy to sign up so they could build mine...
    yeah no thanks.
