    Looking for Rain Bibs Input

Going to purchase some bibs this spring. Had a pair of HuK given to me and they leaked from the get go, but not going into that other than I don't want Huk. So, what reasonable pair of waterproof bibs do you recommend - simms challenger, frabill, guide wear or what? Would probably wear on cool or windy days as well.

i'm still using cabelas guidewear. Don't use it that often only a handful of times a year, but I think i've had this pair for 8 years now.

My dad does too. I've heard a lot of good things about their top model of rain gear.

I've always been fond of my BPS Pro Qualifier suits but will have to find something new when the time comes to replace because they have discontinued that line. I'll be looking at the Academy offerings.

Hard to beat my guidewear. I wear the crap out of the bibs for 4-5 years now and they’re holding up well.

Just buy a Goretex suit you like. Lots of options, but real Goretex has never let me down. Take care of it and it will last a long time.

I've had a set of carhartt storm defender bibs and jacket for 4 seasons so far and they've kept me bone dry and I've fished in some all day soakers. They even keep my rear dry when I sit on a wet seat to drive.

I have a light set from Simms and a little heavier set from Columbia and then a heavy set of Guidewear. All have worked great so far.

I have BPS pro qualifier gore-tex for 12 years. I don't fish tournaments, So don't need $$$$ to stay dry in gusting 8 hour down pour, but if I plan on fishing rain is almost never a deterrent. I am planning on getting the Guidewear bibs just because the BPS/Cabelas brand has held up great for years.
