    Quest Ultrex Gforce Prop Nut?

I'm assuming these are aways a way from being produced as the QUEST takes a different model prop, correct?

PS Anyone have current experience with the Quest Ultrex??

    Thx as always fellas.

The Ultrex Quest prop is totally different from my old Ultrex
The hub is smaller and the back-end tapers down to a cone.
Have yet to use the new Quest but hope to change that as soon as this super cold front blows thru.

I have installed my quest and messed w it in my shop.

The lift assist is legit improved a lot.

Buttons on the pedal are still stupid I fixed them like my Ultrex.

The quest mount is different from the Utrex in that when stowed it is completely flat so there wasn't room for my cables to lay under the upper portion. I added a 1 inch spacer underneath. The Ultrex the upper half had a 3/4 gap under it when stowed.

I hope someone comes out with a Gforce style prop nut for the Quest. On my old Ultrex I really liked not having to use a socket or nutdriver out on the water to take my prop off and clear and line or debris.

Save your money.. Those Gforce prop nuts add zero value or performance (prop vibration) to the TM.

The value, to me at least as well as the gentleman who posted immediately before you, is the ability to easily remove the prop to clear it of debris without the use of hand tools.

@mahomee that’s exactly what I need to do with my footpedal. What sort of material did you use to raise the buttons?

I’m not sure you are using that phrase correctly nor is your comment helpful. Being able to conveniently access something should it require maintenance isn’t “first world problems”.

Fine and dandy till you hit something solid that strips the hub or breaks the prop shear pin..

The Bobs version has the hole throught the center so you can still get it off if this happens. Still worth the money to me especially when someone gets line tangled in the prop. Pull it off quick, remove it and keep going.

Its delrin, like cutting board material. I use a cut off wheel and scuff the pedal and pieces before two part gluing them.
