What does everyone do with old electronics?

So what do you do with out of date electronics. I have some gen 1 and 2s that's not worth much. Have a couple I use on my stump jumper pond boat and on my track sled for gps.
Or does everyone sell them for what they can get out of them.

I sell mine before they get way outdated and invest it in a newer model.
Try to get the good stuff so there's a market for it.

We have County Recycling we can take ours to. The County has a program for people to take them apart. Maybe your area has a similar program?

When I upgrade if the old stuff still works I give it away to anyone that can use it.

I give away all things fishing when I update. Post on local forums for those getting into fishing.

    Same.

I don't like accumulating outdated electronics. I'd rather fet a little cash for them instead of holding on to them.

We are doing about the same. 8-10 for me and all still work. Although I am threatening dumping about 10 grand on a TM and electronics. Right now it’s just a threat but some day I will do the stupid thing and get some new stuff. I guess I am still waiting for some of my electronics to fail or TM to break.

This is a great question that I had not thought about. However, as I think about it, I don't come close to using all of the features on my current electronics. Something would really have to blow me away to make me upgrade this point.

Yes saved and displayed later in life. Shelf dust collectors but they look good I’ve seen lamps made from them.
