    My dilemma,

Snow is forecasted, and my kit boat is where my wife likes to park her ride- in the garage.
So- do I leave the $50k suv in the snow, or move my project out?

Its all good, my wife explained it to me.
Something like- happy wife, happy life.

Leave the boat in garage. YOU, clean the snow off the car. Problem solved.

My wife and I used to argue about this stuff until I gave up

If she would par the car THAT HAS A ROOF outside I could have several more motorcycles in the garage

You’re not in too bad a shape though I live 45 south of Indianapolis and we only got a dusting of snow.

Won’t hurt a car to sit outside.

My boat has never been in a garage in 15 years. Snow melts off it. Never had a problem.

We have never parked in the garage. Married for 32 years. Boats trump vehicles at my address.

I just pay $125.00 a month for a RV storage unit that is twice as long as my boat. That way I can keep my wife’s car and my GTO in the garage. My older Tahoe stays out in the cold. I sure miss the five car garage and boat house we had at the lake. However the boat is fully protected and is ten minutes from Goose pond.

    THIS ^^^^^^^

We have had to brush/SHOVE off up to 7 FEET of snow off her car and my truck the last 2 years. This year only about 6" so FAR.

My boat is ALWAYS in the garage when I'm not using it. My last boat was still in great mechanical shape for 30 years with a solid transom and no wiring problems when I traded it in.

Cars do fine outside, some boats don't. Hope the dog house is warm

Come on now Steve, you know better to ask a question like that. You know we are all going to say, Tell Her the boat goes in the garage, and she can dress warm to start and wipe the snow off her own suv. Now that's just the way its going to be. Yeah good luck with that

Vehicles can handle the weather much better than boats can. I have never parked any vehicle I owned in a garage unless I was working on it.

What about if your wife’s car had a remote start? Would she then be cool with the boat getting the garage?

The boat is on my side of the garage. Her pile of whatever is on her side. If she wants garage space, clean out your side. Prior house the boat got the garage, our new vehicules sat outside.

This time of year, you wanna phrase it more like, “would she be warm to the idea of remote start?”

Your way is better suited for summer months! This way, we all learn to speak their language, which is critical in combatting our common adversary.
