Finally we can get some common sense gun laws beginning February 1st.
Does this mean a gun shortage will happen again for the increased sales due to paranoia of what may or may not happen?
Since when do CRIMINALS follow gun laws?
Why do the most heavily armed places NEVER have mass shootings occur?
Why do the DEADLIEST shootings occur in gun free zones and states, cities, with the most restrictive gun laws?
"When we outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns!"
What we need is for God to lay his hand upon those that would do evil. Give the a chance to chooes not to, and if they decide to use that free will for murder, rape or molestation, well then we just find some people expired for no apparent reason.

The leadership at the NRA has needed to be cleaned out for years. LaPierre and his cronies made themselves rich off the backs of their members just like union leaders do. And yes, there is such a thing as common-sense gun laws that would protect everyone's 2nd Amendment rights while making it more difficult for the wrong people to buy guns.
Maybe the organization will start spending our money in a more fiscally responsible way now; of course I’ve thought the same way after every popularity vote for the last thirty years and it never seems to work out that way…

there is no common sense when it comes to gun laws
There could be if each side was willing to sit down and talk about what makes sense for the law-abiding citizen while reducing the opportunities for the wrong people to buy guns. Unfortunately, both sides have an "all or nothing" approach that does not make sense. The real problem is that our criminal justice system does not put bad people away and keep them away which makes the rest of us feel unsafe.
This will probably set off another round of rabid ammo buying, gun purchases, etc.
