Mercury Fury 3 Blade 25P/24P

Selling a Mercury Fury 3 blade 25p prop that was worked down to a 24p by a local shop. The prop has only been run a few times at higher elevation since being worked and is in excellent condition. No hub is included.

Who did you have work the prop down to a 24P? What boat were you running it on?

The work was done by TruPitch in Carmichael - best prop shop in the Sacramento area! It was worked for the previous owner and his Phoenix 720? so he could run it at higher elevation lakes. I bought it to try on my Nitro Z19 with a 2 stroke 200 Pro XS hoping to get a few more RPMs. It does give me more RPMs, but now it's too much so I would hit the top before getting to speed. Might be a good prop for a 4 stroke or guys running it at higher elevation?

I went back to my stock 25p and will try to rebalance the weight better in the boat.

Did it have cup added to it, and what speed and RPM where you getting with it on your boat?

I don't know exactly what was done to it, but it performs like a 24p now. I was hitting 5600 rpm and only getting to 62 mph in my boat, but I know it performed well at elevation for the previous owner in his Phoenix. Hope that helps!

Is it stamped anywhere on the barrel that it was pitched down? I might be interested for my 4 stroke 200 pro xs

I don't believe it's been re-stamped anywhere, but I'll double check tomorrow.

So I verified it is not re-stamped. It does have some other letters, might be serial number? See pics

vr180 - If JDN doesn't take the prop, I would be interested in swapping for the 25p Tempest, I sent him a PM asking. Could you please send me a few pics of the Tempest? What condition is it in?
