    It’s funny, I’ve gotten into pouring lead this winter and building some of my own baits. After seeing the prices even doing it yourself, it makes you appreciate the prices from major manufacturers really isn’t all that crazy. It’s pretty time consuming and quality components aren’t cheap. I mean that giant gaff hook and extra long silicone tabs aren’t standard off the shelf components, so it’s totally understandable why the jig is pricey.

    You can pour the jigs yourself they make hooks up to 8/0 and there are companies that make 8" to 11" skirts to order
