    Any Submariners on here?

Curious as to which sub type, boomer or attack, had the better overall experience? Just finished watching the movie K-19, pretty good I thought.

From reading a little on it and watching a few videos I think maybe attack would suit me better?

Boomers are out for a long time, attacks aren't.

I am surface but from my sub surface friends I can tell you it depends on you. Do you like and want liberty ports or do you want better food and more space. Boomers stay out without hitting alot of ports and stay submerged being an unknown deterence. They look like aliens when they come back to port breathing scrubbed air for months.

I know not to bend over in the shower to pickup the soap when a sub guy is around.

My dad was sonar/radar tech on a sub tender, he was on many boats usually for short periods. He had some interesting stories. Don't think the Navy operates sub tenders anymore.

Best way to find out is sign up.
