    USPS

I bought a rod and it was shipped out on the 11th of this month. It was suppose to be delivered on the 14th. Since the 15th the tracking has shown the same status as “moving through the network, in transit to the next facility”.

I know it’s holiday season but is that normal for the status to remain the same with no updates? Thinking the rod was lost or something at this point. But not sure how a 7’ tube gets lost.

Ever see my post where it took 31 days for "Priority Shipping" for a package to be delivered?

Normal. I’ve found with USPS once it goes past the original due date there won’t be any updates until it’s out for delivery. Over promise and under achieve

Probably just the workload. I have three packages that were supposed to have been delivered by now, but I'm getting the same message when I check tracking.

Update: Received one of the packages today. Still waiting on the other two.

Either lost or it will be on your doorstep just when you are ready to call the supplier.

really. busiest time of year. everyone buys online now. i worked 12 hours yesterday delivered over 250 parcels on my route. NALC members aren't allowed to work over 12 hours. You probably hate unions too. also its not a tracking number. its DELIVERY CONFIRMATION.

im sorry we dont have enough workers and for last 10 years they will hire anyone off street and 90% of those have a shit work ethic.

Trust me I’m fully expecting it to come in pieces. If it shows up at all.

So here’s how it works. Trailer shows up at a distribution center and is dropped along with all the others. Even though it’s not moving, it won’t be scanned as arrived until it is actually unloaded. With the volume this time of year there is a pretty large backup. It happens every year.

perfect thanks, I could care less really how long it takes as long as it shows up in one piece.. my thing is it would be nice to be like ok it’s sitting at Philadelphia, PA. Cool. Oh it’s moving again. Cool. Just saying “hey it’s in transit” for a week with no location or updates makes ya question using USPS. ESP when I’ve had packages circulate the country a dozen times before showing up… then again maybe that’s why is they don’t want ya to know how backwards they are.
