    button latch

My nephew has a 2005 Z20, the problem is the latch on the trailer keeps popping loose, if not for the safety pin it would come unhooked. I've looked online and contacted ranger parts and cant find parts to fix it other than paying over a thousand bucks for a complete swing away assembly. anybody know where I can find parts for the latch?

Here is just one source I found on the internet for an example. Many companies sell parts for them. You may not need the whole master cylinder but its a lot cheaper at $250 than buying the whole front tongue of the trailer.

You have a Tie Down engineering Trailer hitch and brake assembly on your trailer. Tie Down is owned by Dexter nowadays. Look on the side of your brake master cylinder assembly and get the size and model number and Google the equivalent.

it's not the master cylinder I'm looking for, it's the latch

You could try calling Dexter to see if they have parts but as you can see they have superseded the 19 year old model you have. If it were me I would replace the whole thing as all the parts are well worn by now.
