Mild, medium, hot or very hot?

8ve been fighting this crud that is going around for about a week now. It's not strep, COVID or the flu but it kicked my butt and everyone I know that has had it. Lost my taste a bit due to all phlegm it causes. My taste is back all except for peppers. I can't taste hot. It's weird. Had Thai food yesterday that normally lights me up a bit abd no issues.
I had red chile today with breakfast and could taste the smokiness and earthiness of it butnot the heat. It's weird. My forehead was sweating like usual but I couldn't taste the heat.

hot for me but it needs to have good taste. occasionally I will try something like an atomic hot chicken strip only to find they have made it nasty to make it incrediblely hot. I don't mind my head sweating or my lips burning but I want it taste good as well.

Carolina reaper hot is good but pepper x is to much, ghost peppers are nice, voodoo prince death mamba hot sauce is the bomb

I like spicy flavors but don’t like heat. Burning your mouth takes away from the taste imho

I like Hot! Not Pepper X hot but Hot. I grow my own peppers and pickle them with many spices to create a Hot but tasty flavor. I enjoy Heat but flavor has to be there!
