Sittin' here lookin' at my desk, I ordered some of the bigger S-Shots and thinking how I'll use them. Those hooks, the wire is sooo teeny tiny.

VMC Neko for all Neko, wacky or drop shot. Sizes vary, 2, 1, 1/0. I like keeping it simple and this one hook works well for all 3 techniques.

Decoy shot rig hooks are all i use now for nose hooking baits. Used to use gammies, until one broke on a 2lb smallie and tried a couple different owner ones, but decoy has been awesome for me. I use the size 2 for small 3inch baits and even nose hooking 6 inch robo worms .

So being a dropshot snob per say, there are many variables to consider. Open water/ no vegetation to foul you up and you want the most movement on a small bait. I would use a trokar ds hook #2. More chance of getting fouled I use a roboworm hook #2 and rig it weedless. Literally these are the only 2 hooks you need for like 90% of dropshot scenarios imo. Do I have some bigger and smaller, yes. But do I use them often no.

I use the Trokar 1/0 drop shot hook. That's my hands down favorite hook.
