Ultrex extremely hard to steer left.

Alright. So I have a 2019 model Ultrex 80lb. Started out tosay fine but by mid day the motor was very hard to turn to the left with the foot pedal. Didnt have a remote with me to try it digitally but the motor didnt have any issues moving back and forth while on spot lock. Soo am I looking at a steering cable or a pedal switch?

My first thought is the steering sensor located under the pedal.
They actually changed the sensor some time about 2019 best I recall. Mine had the old style sensor and it went out a few years back.

Mine did the same thing. Minn Kota will upgrade the steering sensor for free on 2020's, not sure about others. Something about the old one getting wet. I paid a dealer $250 to install upgrade, took about an hour that way. They said don't use the pedal at all. You can steer it by grabbing the head or using remote. Spot lock isn't an issue, you can use it.

Easy to replace yourself, new steering sensor is about $100.00
